Köpeklerde caput ve collum femoris' in excision arthroplastisi

Öz:

Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi, Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Bilim Dalı Kliniği'ne 2002-2003 yıllarında getirilen art. coxae düzeyinde gelişim anomalisi veya travmatik nedenlerle oluşmuş lezyonları bulunan değişik ırk, yaş ve cinsiyetteki 15 köpek çalışma materyalini oluşturdu. Yapılan klinik ve radyolojik muayeneler sonrasında lezyonların dağılımına göre; 4 köpekte 4. derecede kalça displazisi, 5 köpekte art. coxae'da travmatik luksasyon, 3 köpekte caput femoris kırığı ve 3 köpekte de acetabular kırık belirlendi. Olguların xylazine HCl % 2 (Alfazyne®, 20 mg/ml, Alfasan) ile premedikasyonu sonrasında, ketamine HCl % 10 (Alfamine®, 10 mg/ml, Alfasan) uygulamasıyla genel anestezisi sağlandı. Kalça eklemine cranio-lateral yaklaşımla ulaşılarak, trochanter majörün medial yüzünden başlayıp trochanter tertiusun proximal yüzünde biten osteotomi hattının sonrasında excision arthroplastisi uygulandı. Postoperatif dönemde rutin olarak olguların klinik ve radyolojik kontrolleri sürdürüldü. 3 olgu postoperatif kontrole getirilmedi, 2 olgu operasyon sonrası 4. ve 7. günlerde trafik kazası nedeniyle öldü. İzlenebilen 10 olguda fonksiyonel klinik iyileşme sağlandığı belirlendi.

Femoral head and neck excision in dogs

Öz:

Fifteen dogs from different breed, age and sex that have had congenital and traumatic lesions of art. coxae, which were brougth to the clinics of Ankara University Veterinary Faculty, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology between the years of 2002-2003, formed the material of the study. After clinical and radiographical examinations, 4th range of displasia of the hip joint in 4 dogs, traumatic luxation of art. coxae in 5 dogs,fracture of the femoral head in 3 dogs and fracture of the acetabulum in 3 dogs were determined. Xylazin HCl 2 % (Alfazyne®, 20 mg/ml, Alfasan) was administered for premedication; then ketamin HC1 10 % (Alfamine®, 10 mg/ml, Alfasan) was used for general anesthesia. Excision of the femoral head and neck was performed after a cranio-lateral approach for osteotomy which begins medial aspect of greater trochanter and ends at the proximal aspect of the lesser trochanter. Usual clinical and radiographic examination were performed. Postoperative progress could not be obtain in 3 dogs. 2 dogs were died 4 and 7 days after surgery. 10 case was assesed clinical and radiological during postoperative period and fuctional recovery was obtained.
