The effects of diaries on self-regulation strategies of preservice science teachers

Öz:
Bu çalışmada günlüklerin fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının öz düzenleme stratejilerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma 30 deney, 30 kontrol grubunda olmak üzere 60 fen bilgisi öğretmen adayı ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Pintrich’in öz düzenleme modeli temel olarak alınmıştır. Pintrich’in öz düzenleme modeli 3 genel bölümden oluşmaktadır: (a) bilişsel öğrenme stratejileri (b) bilişi kontrol eden biliş bilgisi veya öz düzenleme stratejileri (c) kaynak yönetim stratejileri. Araştırmada deney grubunda yer alan fen bilgisi öğretmen adayları günlük öğrenme etkinlikleri için kullandıkları öz düzenleme stratejilerini 14 hafta boyunca günlük rapor formunu doldurarak rapor etmişlerdir. Araştırmanın verileri öğrenme için motivasyon stratejileri ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonunda öz düzenleme stratejilerini rapor eden deney grubundaki içsel motivasyon, konunun önemi, biliş bilgisi, zaman yönetimi stratejilerini kullanma durumu kontrol grubundan anlamlı bir şekilde farklılık göstermektedir.
