Bronşiyal astmalı çocuklarda Tc99m-DTPA ile elde edilen pulmoner epiteliyal permeabilite değerleri

Öz:

Bronşiyal asmalı olgulardaki solunum epitelinin permeabilite degişikliklerine ait çelişkili sonuçlar bildirilmiştir. Bu çalişmada allerjik bronşiyal astmalı çocukların pulmoner epiteliyal permeabilite değerleri ile aynı yaş; grubundaki sağlıklı çocukların değerleri arasında anlamlı fark olup olmadığı araştırılmak istenmiştir. Bu amaçla çalışmaya semptomatik olan 2I allerjik bronşiyal astmalı (10 kız, 11 erkek: ort. yaş 9.8$pm$1.1 yıl) ve 15 sağlıklı çocuk 8 kız. 7 erkek; ort. yaş 9.1$pm$1.8 yıl) alınmıştır. Hasta ve çalışma grubunun pulmoner epiteliyal permeabilite degerleri Tc99m-DTPA ile elde edilen inhalasyon sintigrafilerinde komputer yardımı ile otomatik olarak elde edilmiş ve sonuçlar % / dakika (K.ep) olarak verilmiştir. Her iki grubun sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında. astmalı çocukların pulmoner epiteliyal permeability degerleri (1,5$pm$0,3 % / dakika) sağlıklı çocuklarınkine göre (0.5$pm$0,2 %/dakika) anlamlı olarak yüksek bulunmuştur. Bu sonuç astmalı çocuklarda DTPA ile elde edilen çocukların pulmoner epiteliyal permeabilite değerlerinin bir tanı ve izlemi parametresi olarak kullanılabileceği ve bu konuda ileri araştırmalara gereksinim olduğunu düşündürtmektedir.

Lung epithelial permeability to Tc-99M DTPA in children with bronchial asthma

Öz:

Many controversial studies about the changes in pulmonary epithelial permeability of patients with bronchial asthma have been reported. This study aimed to clarify whether there is a difference between pulmonary epithelial permeability of asthmatic children and healthy subjects. Pulmonary epithelial permeability was quantitatively measured according to Diethylene-triamine-pentaaceticacide (DTPA) clearance rate in 21 ( 10 female and I I male; mean age was 9.8$pm$1.1 year children with allergic unstable asthma bronchial asthma by using Tc-99m DTPA lung scintigraphy acid expressed as % / min. Their results were compared with the pulmonary epithelial permeability of 15 (8 female and 7 male;mes age was 9.1$pm$1.8 year) nıınastlıttıatic healthy subjects. Pulmonary epithelial permeability itı asthmatic children were observed significantly higher than that in control group ( 1,5 $pm$ 0,3 1%/min and 0,5 $pm$ 0,2 %/min respectively), These results suggested that pulmonary epithelial permeability of children with bronchial asthma are higher than that in healthy children. ,Thus. to date. DTPA clearance index may he valid tool identifying and/or monitoring asthmatic children and need further investigations.
