Türkiye’de üçüz açığın ampirik analizi (1984-2010)
Ülkelerde cari açıkların krize neden olması cari açığın belirleyicilerinin araştırılmasına neden olmuştur. Literatürde cari açıkla beraber bütçe açığının varlığı “ikiz açık hipotezi” olarak kabul edilmektedir. Yurt içi tasarruf yatırım açığının varlığında ikiz açığın analizi “üçüz açık” olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Üçüz açığın analizinde cari açık, bütçe açığı ve tasarruf yatırım açıkları arasındaki ilişkilere odaklanılmaktadır. İkiz açığa ilişkin çok sayıda çalışma olmasına rağmen üçüz açığa ilişkin çalışmaların sayısı sınırlıdır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de 1984-2010 dönem aralığında üçüz açığın varlığını VAR yöntemi ile test etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bulgular cari açıkla tasarruf yatırım açıkları arasında ilişkinin olduğunu ve üçüz açık hipotezinin Türkiye için geçerli olmadığını göstermektedir.
