PFAPA sendromu: Olgu sunumu
Öz: PFAPA sendromu (periyodic ateş, aftöz stomatit,farenjit ve servikal lenfadenit) tekrarlayan ateş ataklarıile karekterize bir periyodik çocukluk çağı hastalığıdır.Bu sendrom genellikle 5 yaş altı ve erkek çocuklardadaha fazla gözükmektedir. Bu yazıda 4 yaşında 20-25günde bir tekrarlayan ateş, tonsillit ve servikal lenfa denit ile başvuran bir erkek çocuk sunuldu. Ataklar tekdoz metilprednizolon tedavisi ile dramatik olarakdüzeldi.

Öz: PFAPA syndrome (periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pha ryngitis, cervical adenitis) is a pediatric periodic disease cha racterised by recurrent febrile episodes. This syndrome usua l ly observed under 5 years of age and common in boys. Inthis case report, a 4 year old boy with complained of recu rrent attacks of fever, tonsillitis and cervical lenfadenitis ispresented. The attacks had recurred every 20 -25 days. Theattacks of the patient dramatically resolved after a singledose of metilprednisolon.
