Öz:

İyatrojeni, tanısal işlemler veya uygulanan tedaviye bağlıolarak hastada ortaya çıkan; doktor, hemşire, teknisyen,laboratuar veya hasta bakımı ile ilişkili herhangi birpersonelin hatalarından kaynaklanan istenmeyen hadiselerin tümüne verilen isimdir. Bu derlemede, yenidoğanyoğun bakım ünitelerinde sık karşılaşılan iyatrojenikhadiseler ve korunma yollarına, en güncel literatür eşliğinde yaklaşım özetlenmiştir.

An update on iatrogenesis in the neonatal intensive care unit

Öz:

Iatrogenesis is an inadvertent adverse effect orcomplication resulting from medical treatment or adviceof physicians, nurses, technicians or laboratorypersonnel. In this review, we have provided probablecauses of iatrogenesis and methods of prevention in thelight of the most recent medical literature.
