Fibular hemimelia is "the congenital partial or totalabsence of the fibula and it is the most frequent lowerlimb deficiency anomalies. Prenatal sonographicdiagnosis of this anomaly is important to prepare thepatient for surgery and to raise awareness of the familyfor the therapeutic approach after birth. There are fewpublished cases of its prenatal diagnosis. All these caseswere in type 2 group with total absence of fibula whichwere relatively easy to diagnose by antenatalultrasound. In this case we aim to discuss the ultrasoudfindings of a fetus with partial deficiency of the fibulaassociated foot equinovalgus, and absence of the fourthand fifth foot rays and metatars diagnosed at 24 weeksgestation by literature.
