Okul müdürlerinin inisiyatif alma düzeyleri ile öz-yeterlikleri arasındaki ilişki
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’deki kamu ilköğretim okulu müdürlerinin inisiyatif alma düzeylerinin öz-yeterlikleriyle ilişkisini incelemektir. İlişkisel tarama biçiminde desenlenen araştırmaya İstanbul, Çanakkale, İzmir, Eskişehir, Konya, Antalya, Kayseri, Samsun, Trabzon, Kars, Van ve Şanlıurfa’da ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 381 okul müdürü katılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, Okul Müdürlerinde Kişisel İnisiyatif Ölçme Aracı ve Okul Müdürlerinin Yeterlik Algıları Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Eğitimi Araştırma ve Geliştirme Dairesi (EARGED) Başkanlığı’nca desteklenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları okul müdürlerinin inisiyatif alma düzeyleri ile öz-yeterlikleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca, okul müdürlerinin her üç boyuttaki öz-yeterliklerinin kendiliğinden başlama, proaktiflik ve ısrarcılık boyutlarında kişisel inisiyatif alma durumlarını yordadığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları alanyazın ışığında tartışılmış ve uygulamaya dönük öneriler getirilmiştir.
