Accordingto the analysis results it has been found that while income inequality, foreign direct investment, population growth, infation and expenditures like public health, private health and secondaryeducation have signifcant effects on poverty, variables of GDP per capita, trend, foreign directinvestments, higher education spendings, public health spendings, income inequality, secondaryeducation spendings and current account defcit have signifcant effects on economic growth. Basedon the econometric application s results, an increase in income inequality and poverty increasesdue to changes in income inequality leads to growth. It has been determined that public healthexpenditures reduce poverty however, private health expenditures increase poverty. Furthermore,it has been observed that poverty arises together with growing population and infation.
