Solitary fibrous tumor of the supraclavicular region

Öz:

Soliter fibröz tümör, baş - boyun bölgesinde çok nadirgelişen, yavaş büyüyen ve genellikle asemptomatik olanbenign bir lezyondur. Bilgimiz dahilinde, 2010 yılınakadar İngilizce literatürde 153 baş - boyun soliter fibröztümör olgusu yayınlanmıştır. Bununla birlikte hiçbirisupraklavikülar bölgede rapor edilmemiştir. Bu çalışma- da, supraklavikülar bölgeden kaynaklanan bir soliter fibröz tümör olgusu sunulmuş, hastalığın karakteristikleri, ayırıcı tanısı ve tedavi yöntemleri özetlenmiştir.

Öz:

Solitary fbrous tumors of the head and neck are extremelyrare, slow-growing, and generally asymptomatic benignneoplasms. To the best of our knowledge, only 153 cases ofsolitary fbrous tumors in the head and neck have been pre-viously reported in the English literature until 2010. How-ever, none has been in the supraclavicular region. Herein, we report a case of solitary fbrous tumor arising from thesupraclavicular region. Characteristics, diferential diagno-sis, and treatment of the disease were also summarized.
