İnfantil hemanjiom ve oral propranolol tedavisi

Öz:

İnfantil hemanjiom bebeklik döneminin en sık görülen selim tümörüdür. Tedavi endikasyonları arasın - da; havayolu tıkanıklıkları, ülserasyon, enfeksiyon, görme bozukluğu, emme bozukluğu gibi fonksiyonkayıplarına yol açması durumları sayılabilir. İnfantil hemanjiomun tedavisinde kortikosteroidler uzunyıllardır ilk tercih olmakla beraber son yıllarda oral propranolol de kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Yüzünsağ tarafında geniş hemanjiomu bulunan 3 aylık hastada, propranolol tedavisi ile belirgin iyileşmesağlanmış ve güncel tedavi ile ilgili çalışmalar tartışılmıştır.

Öz:

Infantile hemangioma is the most common bening tumors of infancy. Common treatment indicationsinclude airway obstruction, ulceration, infection, visual impairment or feding difficulties. Besides thesteroids were the first choice in treatment of infantile hemangiomas for years, propranolol was alsoused in recent years.. This report presents a 3-month-old patient with infantile hemangioma in theright side of her face has been treated with oral propranolol therapy, accompanied by brief review ofliterature with treatment options.
