MAYA ENDÜSTRİSİ ATIKSUYUNUN ULTRASES İLE RENK Gİ DERİM İ NDE ÇEŞİTLİ TUZLARIN ETKİ S İ

Öz:
Ultrases prosesi son yı llarda önem kazanan kimyasal oksidasyon yöntemidir. Uygun sı caklık vebası nçta sucul ortama verilen ses dalgaları ile kavitasyon oluş makta, suyun fiziksel ve kimyasalbileş imini değ i ş tirerek atı ksuda bulunan organik maddelerin daha az zararlı bileş iklere dönüşmesinisağlamaktadı r. Bu çalı ş mada Orta Karadeniz bölgesinde bulunan bir maya fabrikası n ı n biyolojik arı tmatesisi girişinden temin edilen atı ksu kullanı lmı ş t ı r. Ultrases ile maya endüstrisi atı ksuyunda renk vekimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı (KOİ ) giderimi araş t ı r ılmı ş t ı r. Ultrases kaynağı olarak 20kHz frekansa sahipultrasonik homojenizatör kullanı lmı ş t ı r. Ultrases ile 60dk reaksiyon sonunda %21,7 oranı nda renkgiderimi sağ lanmı ş t ı r. Çalı ş mada Na2 CO3 , CaCO3 , NaCl, CaCl2 gibi tuzların ilavesinin ultrasonikbozunma üzerine etkisi incelenmiştir.

EFFECT OF SEVERAL SALTS ON ULTRASONIC DECOLORIZATION OF BAKER S YEAST EFFLUENT

Öz:
Ultrasound process is one of the chemical oxidation method. It gain importance in recent years. Byusing sound waves in liquid medium with proper temperature and pressure cavitation occurs and itchanges chemical and physical properties of water. Organic pollutants in wastewater degradate intosmaller or less harmfull compounds. In this study, wastewater was supplied from baker yeast factorywhich is located in the North of Turkey. Wastewater was collected before biological treatment.Decolorization and chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal of baker s yeast effluent with ultrasoundwere investigated. Ultrasonic homogeniser with 20kHz frequency was used as a source of ultrasound.By using ultrasound 21,7% decolorization was supplied at the end of 60min. In this study effect ofseveral salts such as Na2 CO3 , CaCO3 , NaCl, CaCl2 on the ultrasonic degradation was investigated.
