İKİZ AÇIKLAR VE FELDSTEIN-HORIOKA HİPOTEZİ: OECD ÜLKELERİ ÜZERİNE YATAY KESİT BAĞIMLILIĞI ALTINDA YAPISAL KIRILMALI PANEL EŞBÜTÜNLEŞME ANALİZİ
Bu çalışma, cari işlemler açığı, bütçe açığı ve sabit sermaye yatırımı değişkenlerini kullanarak 20 OECD ülkesi için ikiz açıklar ve Feldstein-Horioka hipotezinin geçerliliğini araştırmaktadır. Ampirik uygulamada değişkenler arasında eşbütünleşmenin varlığı doğrulanmış ve her iki hipotezinde geçerli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, OECD ülkelerinde bütçe açığındaki bir artış cari işlemler açığını artırmaktadır. Ayrıca, yatırım katsayısının 1'e yakın olması (0.929) ilgili dönemde incelenen ülke grubunun dünya ekonomisi ile bütünleştiğini ve yurt içi yatırımların yaklaşık %93'ünün yurt dışı kaynaklardan finanse edildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Buna göre, politika uygulayıcılarının artan bütçe ve tasarruf açıklarını azaltmaya yönelik politikaları desteklemeleri gerekmektedir
