SİRKADİYEN RİTİM VE METABOLİZMA: OBEZİTE ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ

Öz:
Obezite gü nü mü zde ciddi bir halk sag lıg ı sorünü haline gelmiştir. Bü sorünün nedeninin, aşırı enerji tü ketimi veya yetersiz fiziksel aktivite dü zeyi ile ilişkili oldüg üna dair açıklamalar yetersiz kalmaktadır. Son çalışmalar, sirkadiyen ritim bozüklüklarının obezite ve metabolik hastalıkların gelişimine katkıda bülündüg ünü go stermiştir. Bü nedenle, sirkadiyen ritmin yeniden dü zenlenmesi obezitenin gelişme riskini azaltabilecek yeni bir yaklaşım olarak go rü lmektedir. Bü derlemede sirkadiyen ritim ile obezite arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanılmıştır

CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS AND METABOLISM: EFFECTS ON OBESITY

Öz:
Obesity has become a serioüs püblic health problem today. Simplistic explanations based on excessive nütritional consümption or lack of physical activity are inadeqüate to accoünt for this problem. Recent stüdies have shown that disrüption of circadian rhythms lead to obesity and metabolic disorders. Therefore, it is plaüsible that resetting of the circadian clock can be üsed as a new approach to attenüate obesity risk. This paper focüses on circadian rhythms and their link to obesity
