Septoplasti sonrası çok geç komplikasyon: Septal apse
Öz: Nazal septal apse kıkırdak veya kemik septum ve mukoperikondriyum veya mukoperiost arasında irin birikmesi olarak tanımlanır. Nazal septal apse en sık burun tıkanıklığı ve ağrı ile kendini gösterir. Bu yazıda, septoplasti ameliyatından dört ay sonra Pseudomonas aeruginosa kaynaklı septal apse komplikasyonu geçiren 46 yaşında bir erkek hasta sunuldu. Bildiğimiz kadarıyla, bu septoplasti ameliyatı komplikasyonu olarak en geç bildirilen septal apsedir.

Very late complications after septoplasty: septal abscess
Öz: Nasal septal abscess is defined as a collection of pus between the cartilage or bony septum and the mucoperichondrium or mucoperiostium. Nasal septal abscess manifests itself most often with nasal congestion and pain. In this article, we report a 46-year-old male patient with a Pseudomonas aeruginosa induced septal abscess as a complication of septoplasty four months after the surgery. As far as we know, this is the latest reported septal abscess as a complication of septoplasty operation.
