Multidisipliner Ekipte Yer Alan Meslek Gruplarının Çocuk İstismar ve İhmaline İlişkin Görüş ve Tutumları

Öz:
AMAÇ: Bu çalışma, multidisipliner ekipte yer alan meslekgruplarının çocuk istismar ve ihmali [ÇİVİ] konusunda görüşve tutumlarını değerlendirmek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarakyapılmıstır.YONTEMLER: Araştırmanın örneklemini Kayseri Kocasinan veMelikgazi ilçelerindeki Adliye, Emniyet, Milli Eğitim, Sağlık ve SosyalHizmetler Müdürlüğü'nde çalışan 362 kişi oluşturmuştur. Veriler,tanıtıcı özellikler anket formu ve ÇiVi'ye İlişkin Öyküleri İçerenAnket Formu ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde;tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Kruskal Wallis Varyans Analizi, MannWhitneyve bu testlerin post-hoc testleri kullanılmıstır. Buçalışmanın yapılabilmesi için etik kurul, ilgili kurumlar vekatılımcılardan sözlü ve yazılı izin alınmıştır.BULGULAR: Multidisipliner ekipteki profesyoneller arasındaÇİVİ konusunda en az öğretmenlerin [%18,5], en fazla sosyalhizmet uzmanlarının [%93,3] eğitim aldıkları belirlenmiştir.ÇİVİ ölçeğinde meslek grupları arasında, duygusal istismar altölçeğinde istatistiksel olarak önemli bir fark bulunmazken, fiziksel,cinsel, fiziksel olmayan istismar ve ihmal alt ölçekleri puanortalamalarında gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli birfark bulunmuştur [p60,05]. Hemşire ve ebelerin, genellikle ÇİVİöykülere ilişkin alt ölçeklerde diğer profesyonellere göre dahafazla puan aldıkları saptanmıştır. Çalışmada profesyonellerinçoğunlukla aile dışı müdahaleleri önerdikleri, hırsızlığa teşviketme, çocuktaki döküntü ve yaraları görmezden gelme, ebeveyninçocuğun yanında uyuşturucu kullanması, ödevlerini doğruyapmadığı için isim takma ve yaşındaki çocuğu bacağından kapıkoluna bağlama öykülerine ilişkin müdahalelerde profesyonellerarasında farklılıklar olduğu belirlenmiştir [p60,05].SONUÇ: Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre; ÇİVİ'nin önlenmesindeve müdahale edilmesinde belirli yükümlülükleri bulunanprofesyonellerin ÇİVİ konusunda eğitim, görüş ve tutumlarındafarklılıkların olması dikkat çekicidir. Multidisipliner ekipteki profesyonellerinöğrenimleri ve hizmet içi eğitim programlarındaÇİVİ'ye ilişkin daha kapsamlı yer verilmesi önerilmektedir.

Opinions and Attitudes of Occupational Groups Located in Multidisciplinary Team Related to Child Abuse and Neglect

Öz:
OBJECTIVE: This study was conducted descriptively to evaluateopinions and attitudes of occupational groups located in the multidisciplinaryteam about child abuse and neglect [CAN].METHODS: The sample of study consisted of 362 people who workin administration of justice, police department, directorate of nationaleducation, directorate of health and social services that locatedin town Kocasinan and Melikgazi, Kayseri. The data werecollected using descriptive charac teristics questionnaire formand questionnaire form including narrations about CAN. The descriptivestatistics, Kruskal Wallis, Mann-Whitney and post-hoctests were used for analyzing data. This study has been allowed tobe done from Ethical Committee, the permission ofthe institutionsand participants as oral and verbal.RESULTS: It was determined that teachers had received trainingat least [18.5%], social workers had received training [93.3%]most between professionals in multidisciplinary team about CAN.Between occupational groups in CAN scale, while there was nodifference statistically in emotional abuse subscales, there wasstatistically significant difference between groups scores themean scores of physical, sexual, non-physical abuse and neglectsubscale [p60.05].|t was detected that nurses and midwives havereceived more scores than other professionals in the subscale relatedto CAN narratives. In the study, it was determined that professionalswas proposed mostly non-family interventions, therewere different interventions between professionals in narrativesrelated to encouraging robbery, ignoring rashes and sores in children,using drugs ofthe parent neighbor on the child, giving nickname for not doing right their homework and tying the leg of childin 2-year-old to the door handle[p60.05].CONCLUSION: According to the results of this study; it is not worthythat there are differences in attitude and opinions about CAN professionals'who have certain obligations in the prevention and interventionof CAN. It is recommended to provide more comprehensiveplace related to CAN in Professional education and in-servicetraining programs of professionals in the multidisciplinary team.
