Öz:

AMAÇ: Araştırma, yazılı medyada yer alan çocuk istismarcılarıngerçekleştirdiği çocuğa yönelik cinsel istismarların genelkarakteristiğinin bilimselverilerle uygunluğunun karşılaştırılması veçocukların çocuklara yönelik olarak gerçekleştirdiği cinsel istismarhaberlerinin ele alınış biçiminin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.YÖNTEMLER: Türkiye'de günlük yayın yapan ve yüksek tirajasahip olan Sabah, Posta, Habertürk, Zaman ve Hürriyet gazetelerinin2006-2014 yılları arasındaki arşiv kayıtları "çocuk cinsel istismarı"ve "çocuk istismarı" anahtar kelimeleri ile taranarak birbirindenbağımsız 57 haber incelenmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesindeortalama ve yüzdelik istatistik testleri ile haber içerik analizikullanılmıştır.BULGULAR: Çocukların çocuklara yönelik olarak gerçekleştirdiğicinsel istismar haberlerinde yer alan istismarların yarısındanfazlasının tek çocuk tarafından gerçekleştirildiği, istismarcıların yaşortalamalarının 15,611,71, istismar edilen çocukların ise i3,1i3,08olduğu ve yarısından fazlasının arkadaş olduğu; istismarlarınçoğunluğunun çocuklarla birlikte birden fazla istismarcı tarafından,zorlama ile istismar edilen ve eden çocukların evlerinde gerçekleştiği,istismar edilen çocuğun anlatması ile ortaya çıktığı belirlenmiştir.Haberlerin tamamında olayla ilgili yer ve zaman ayrıntısına,yarısına yakınında ifade ve mahkeme kayıtlarına yer verildiği, haberbaşlıklarında cinsel taciz, tecavüz ve istismar gibi dikkat çeken ifadelerkullanıldığı görülmüştür.SONUÇ: Bilimsel gerçekliği tam olarak yansıtmamasına rağmenmedyada yer alan çocuk cinsel istismarı suçlusu ve bu cinselistismarların mağduru çocuklarla ilgili haberlerin toplumsal hassasiyetindikkate alınarak sunulması ve toplumsal bilinci olumlu yöndegeliştirecek içerikte olması gerekmektedir.

Mağduru ve Sanığı Çocuk Olan Cinsel istismarla ile İlgili Haberlerin İncelenmesi

Öz:

OBJECTIVE: The study is aimed to compare the relevance of generalcharacteristic of sexual abuse direct to child that took place inwritten media and done by child exploiters with the scientific dataand investigate handling forms of the news.METHODS: The archives between 2006-2014 years of some newspapersthat are published daily in Turkey and have high edition asSabah, Posta, Habertürk, Zaman and Hürriyet were screened accordingto key words as 'child sexual abuse' and 'child abuse'. 57news were independent from each other were investigated. Datawas evaluated by using mean and percentage tests and contentanalysis.RESULTS: In more than half of the news, only one child abused ineach cases, the average age of the perpetrators was 15.611.71, itwas 13.113.08 for the abused child, the most of the abuse casesoccured at the houses of the children by force, and it is determinedafter the abused child told the event. In all of the news, the placeand time details took place and there were their statements andcourt documents in near half of them. Also, it is seen that at thetitles of news some remarkable terms were used as sexual abuse,rape and exploitation.CONCLUSION: Although it does not reflect the scientific reality,the news that take place in media and about children who areperpetrators or victims at sexual abuse cases are needed to submitby considering social sensitivity and should have content asimproving social conscious direct to positive.
