Miksomiset Enteridium speldens (Morgan) Macbr.' in antimikrobiyal aktivitesi

Bu çalışmada, miksomiset Enteridium splendens (Morgan) Macbr. 'den elde edilen kloroform ve etanol ekstrelerinin antimikrobiyal aktivitleri disk difüzyon metoduna göre Gram (+) bakteriler Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 19117, Corynebacterium xerosis CCM 2824, Bacillus cereus ATCC 7064, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Bacillus brevis ATCC 9999, Bacillus sphaericus, Bacillus megaterium, Sarcina lutea, Micrococcus luteus LA 2971, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538P, Staphylococcus epidermidis NRRL B-4877, Micrococcus roseus, Micrococcus flavus ATCC 14452 ve Corynebacterium glutamicum, Gram (-) bakteriler Aeromonas hydrophila ATCC 7966, Proteus vulgaris ATCC 8427, Serratia marcescens NRRL 3284, Alcaligenes feacalis CCM 3763, Alcaligenes eutrophus, Salmonella parathyphi B, Salmonella thyphi ATCC 19430, Salmonella thyphimurium CCM 5445, Klebsiella pneumoniae UC57, Citrobacter freundü ATCC 8090, Bordatella bron-chiseptica ATCC 4617, Erwinia amylovora, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Pseudomonas extorquens, Pseudomonas putida ve Xanthomonas campestris, asit-fast özellik gösteren Mycobacterium smegmatis CCM 2067 ve maya kültürleri Kluyveromyces fragilis NRRL 2415, Candida albicans ATCC 10231, Candida utilis LA 991, Hansenula sp., Rhodotorula rubra, Debaryomyces sp., Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 9763, Schizosaccharomyces sp., Torulopsis sp. ve Torula sp. üzerinde denenmiştir. Bulgulara göre, Enteridium splendens (Morgan) Macbr. ekstrelerinin bazı Gram (-) bakterilere karşı antimikrobiyal bir aktivite içermesine rağmen çalışmada kullanılan Gram (+) bakterilere ve maya kültürlerine karşı bir antimikrobiyal aktiviteye sahip olmadığı saptanmıştır.

Antimicrobial activity of the myxomycete Enteridium splendens (Morgan) Macbr.

In this study, chloroform and ethanol extracts of the myxomycete Enteridium splendens (Morgan) Macbr. were tested for antimicrobial activity by Disc Diffusion method on the following test microorganisms : Gram (+) bacteria Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 19117, Corynebacterium xerosis CCM 2824, Bacillus cereus ATCC 7064, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Bacillus brevis ATCC 9999, Bacillus sphaericus, Bacillus megaterium, Sarcina lutea, Micrococcus luteus LA 297l,Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538P, Staphylococcus epider-midis NRRL B-4877, Micrococcus roseus, Micrococcus flavus ATCC 14452 and Corynebacterium glutamicum, Gram (-) bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila ATCC 7966, Proteus vulgaris ATCC 8427, Serratia marcescens NRRL 3284, Alcaligenes feacalis CCM 3763, Alcaligenes eutrophus, Salmonella parathyphi B, Salmonella thyphi ATCC 19430, Salmonella thyphimurium CCM 5445, Klebsiella pneumoniae UC57, Citrobacter freundü ATCC 8090, Bordatella bronchiseptica ATCC 4617, Erwinia amylovora, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Pseudomonas extorquens, Pseudomonas putida and Xanthomonas campestris, asit-fast bacterium Mycobacterium smegmatis CCM 2067 ve yeast cultures Kluyveromycesfragilis NRRL 2415, Candida albicans ATCC 10231, Candida utilis LA 991, Hansenula sp., Rhodotorula rubra, Debaryomyces sp., Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 9763, Schizosaccharomyces sp., Torulopsis sp. and Torula sp. As a result of study, It has found that the extracts of Enteridium splendens (Morgan) Macbr. revealed antimicrobial activity against some Gram (-) bacteria but it had no antimicrobial activity against Gram (+) bacteria and yeasts used in the study.
