Regmatojen Retina Dekolmanı Riski Olmayan Periferik Retina Dejenerasyonları ve Yönetimi

Öz:

Periferik retina dejenerasyonları genellikle semptom vermeksizin rutin oftalmolojik muayenede periferik fundusun taranmasısırasında rastlantısal olarak karşımıza çıkan ve genellikle tedavi ihtiyacı göstermeyen lezyonlardır. Çoğu zaman ilerleme göstermeyenbu lezyonların atlanması hasta ve hekim açısından hem tıbbi hem de medikolegal açıdan çok sorun çıkarmasa da takibinin gerekmesiveya profilaktik tedavi gerektirebilecek lezyonların bulunma ihtimali bizleri bu konuda dikkatli davranmaya sevk etmelidir. Buderlemede regmatojen retina dekolmanı riski olmayan periferik retina dejenerasyonları ve bu lezyonların yönetimi özetlenmiştir.

Peripheral Retinal Degenerations without Risk of Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment and Management

Öz:

Peripheral retinal degenerations are lesions that usually appear incidentally during routine ophthalmologic examination when the peripheral fundus is scanned, and usually do not require treatment. Though skipping these non-progressing lesions do not often leads to problems both legally and medically in terms of both the patient and the physician, the possibility of needing follow-up or lesions that may require prophylactic treatment should lead us to be cautious in this regard. In this review, peripheral retinal degenerations without risk of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and management of these lesions are summarized.
