Approach to Type 1 Choledochal Cysts: Case Series
Öz: Objective: Common bile duct cysts are rare congenital bile duct anomalies. In this study, we aimed to retrospectively evaluate the clinical and radiological findings of four adult patients with type 1 common bile duct cyst and, surgical procedures applied to them.Case series: Three patients (75%) were female and the mean age was 52.5 (range: 39-72) years. Common complaint of all patients were abdominal pain. After the examination, the patients were diagnosed with type 1 common bile duct cyst. All patients underwent Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy.Conclusion: Appropriate treatment of type 1 common bile duct cysts is primary excision and Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy.

Öz: Amaç: Koledok kistleri, nadir görülen konjenital safra yolu anomalileridir. Bu çalışmada, Tip 1 koledok kisti olan dört erişkin hastanın klinik ve radyolojik bulgularını ve, bu hastalara uygulanan cerrahi tedavi yöntemlerini retrospektif olarak değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Olgu serisi: Hastaların üçü (% 75) kadındı ve yaş ortalaması 52,5 (aralık: 39-72) yıl idi. Tüm hastaların ortak şikayeti karın ağrısıydı. Değerlendirmeden sonra hastalara tip 1 koledok kisti tanısı konuldu. Sonrasında Roux-en-Y hepatikojejunostomi yapıldı. Sonuç: Tip 1 koledok kistlerinde uygun tedavi, primer eksizyon ve Roux-en-Y hepatikojejunostomidir.
