YEREL DEMOKRASİ: BİR GÜNCELLEME ÖNERİSİ
Öz: Yerel demokrasi üzerine güncel kurumsalcı bakış açısı kentlerde yaşanan yıkıcı dönüşüme yanıtvermekten uzaktır. Bu çalışmada, bu sorunla başa çıkabilmek amacıyla, yönetişim, ağ demokrasisive kent hakkı kavramlarının bir arada düşünülmesi önerilmektedir. Yerel demokrasinin katılımcıları,kent hakkı perspektifinin yerel yönetişimle bütünleştirilmesiyle somutlaşabilirken, diğer taraftan ağdemokrasisi ve yeni yerel siyasal liderlik kentte farklılıkların uyumunu mümkün kılabilecektir. Böyleceyerel demokrasinin neoliberal kentleşmenin etkilerini aşmayı mümkün kılacak yeni bir anlaşılmabiçimi inşa edilebilecektir.

Öz: Current institutionalist perspective on local democracy could not engage with the destructive transformations in the cities. In this work, to cope with this problem, it is proposed to make an intersection between the concepts of governance, network democracy and right to the city. While participants of local democracy could be embodied by integration of the perspective of right to the city and local governance, on the other hand the cohesion of diversities in the city could be possible by network democracy and new political leadership. So a new understanding toward local democracy which surpasses the impacts of neoliberal urbanization could be constructed.
