Macroaggregated Albumin (MAA): Production, Size Optimization, Eu(III) and Tb(III) Complexes

Öz:
Herein, the synthesis of the macroaggregated albumin particles was carried out underdifferent conditions for the size optimization that can be used in magnetic resonance, positronemission and fluorescence imaging. The size distribution analysis was performed with theMastersizer and optimized MAA had 31.57 µm size and 0.36 PDI value. Morphological analysis wasdone with SEM. EDX and FT-IR analyzes were performed to study formed Eu3+ and Tb3+ complexeswith optimized MAA. MAA complexes that can be used in lungs and liver imaging have beensuccessfully obtained.
