EGE TİPİ BİR USTURA VE ÜZERİNDEKİ TEKSTİL KALINTILARININ ARKEOLOJİK VE ARKEOMETRİK ANALİZLERİ YOLUYLA MİKEN SARAY ORGANİZASYONUNDAKİ TUNÇ VE TEKSTİL ENDÜSTRİLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Öz:

Bu çalışmada Kemal Uğurbil’in özel koleksiyonunda bulunan Ege tipi metal usturave üzerinde bulunan tekstil kalıntılarından yola çıkarak Ege bölgesi geç tunç çağı tekstilve tunç endüstrisi incelenmiştir. Ustura üzerinde bulunan tekstil ve yapımında kullanılanmetal tipinden yola çıkarak Miken ekonomisinin iki farklı endüstrisi hakkında değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Miken usturası taşınabilir enerji dağılımlı X ışını floresansspektroskopisi (P-EDXRF) ve taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM-EDS) kullanılarakarkeometrik analizleri yapılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları %90 bakır (Cu) ve %10 kalay alaşımıkullanılarak tunçtan yapıldığını ortaya koymuştur. Bunun yanısıra SEM sonuçlarıusturayı saran tekstili görünür kılarak keten olduğunu kanıtlamıştır. Dünyanın en eskitekstillerinden biri olan ketenin Mikenlerdeki varlığı tabletlerden bilinmektedir.

An Assessment of the Bronze and Textile Industries in the Mycenaean Palatial Organization Through Archaeological and Archaeometric Analysis of a Razor and its Textile Remnants

Öz:

This study examines the bronze and textile industries of the Mycenaeans, through the structure, archaeometric analysis of metal and the textile residues on the Aegean type razor from the Kemal Uğurbil Private Collection. The role of the two different industries in Mycenaean economic structure has been assessed through the types of the metal from which it was produced and the presence of textile remains on the metal. The razor of the Mycenaeans has been analyzed by using portable Energy Dispersive X Ray Florescence Spectroscopy and Scan Electron Microscopy coupled with Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDS). The results proved that the razor was made of bronze Cu 90 % and tin (Sn) 10 %. Beside this the textile clothing the razor, made visible by using SEM, was identified as linen. One of the oldest used textile is linen which known in the Mycenaean world from tablets.
