Turkish Adaptation of Flow at Work (Wolf) : Validity and Reliability Study

Öz:
The aim of this article is to test the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Flow at WorkScale (WOLF- SCALE) in the working life developed and outlined by Bakker in 2008. The sample of the sutdyconsists of 135 academics and 117 teachers. According to the results of the study, The scale has a two dimensional structure. The dimension of “Absorption” in the original scale gave the same result in this study. However, “Work Enjoyment” and “Intrinsic Work Motivation” dimensions are united in one dimension asdifferent from the original scale. This new dimension consisting of combined two dimensions, is called“Intrinsic Enjoyment at Work”.As a result, it is considered that this scale will be useful for future studies making inferences aboutworking life experience in different sectors and samples. Also, it is recommended that the Flow at Work Scalebe used as dependent and independent variable in different research in the future.
