Kol,omuz ve el sorunları (disabilities of the arm,shoulder and hand-DASH) anketi Türkçe uyarlamasının güvenirliği ve geçerliği

Öz:

Kol, Omuz ve El Sorunları Anketi (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand - DASH), tüm üst ekstremite bozukluklarında fiziksel özür ve semptomları ölçen bir kendi kendini değerlendirme sonuç ölçümü anketidir. Çalışmamızın amacı, DASH anketinin Türkçe kültürel adaptasyonunu yapmak ve üst ekstremite şikayeti olan Türkçe konuşan hastalar için test - tekrar test güvenirliğini ve geçerliğini değerlendirmekti. Gereç ve Yöntem: DASH’ın Türkçe’ye ve tekrar İngilizce’ye çevirisi yayınlanmış rehberlere göre yapıldı. Hastaların DASH, diğer skalalar (SF-36, Görsel Analog Skalası) ve kavrama kuvveti ölçümü ilk gün ve 7 gün sonra değerlendirildi. DASH anketi ile üst ekstremite şikâyeti olan toplam 134 hasta değerlendirildi. 75 hastada test - tekrar test güvenirliği değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Türkçe ve İngilizce çeviri büyük güçlükler göstermedi. DASH-Fonksiyon/Semptom test - tekrar test güvenirliği 0.910 ve DASH-İş Modeli 0.793 bulundu. SF-36 Fiziksel Fonksiyon (r=-0.531, p<0.001) ve SF-36 Vücut Ağrısı (r=- 0.594, p <0.001) bölümleri ile DASH arasında orta düzeyde korelasyon bulundu. Tartışma: DASH anketinin Türkçe versiyonu çok yüksek test - tekrar test güvenirlik ve geçerliğe sahip bulundu. DASH üst ekstremite şikayetleri olan Türk hastalarda fonksiyonel özürü ölçmede uygun ve kullanılabilir bir ankettir.

Reliability and validity of the Türkish version of the disabilities of the arm.shoulder and hand (DASH) questionnaire

Öz:

The DASH (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand) Questionnaire is a selfadministered outcome questionnaire measuring physical disability and symptoms for all upper limb disorders. The objective of our study was to translate the DASH into Turkish and to evaluate its test re-test reliability and validity for Turkish speaking patients with upper extremity complaints. Material and method: Translation and back translations of the DASH were performed according to the published guidelines. Individuals were given the DASH and other scales (SF-36, Visual Analogue Scale) and grip strength of the individuals was evaluated on their first visit and seven days later. A total of 134 patients with upper extremity complaints were assessed by the DASH questionnaire. A sub-sample of 75 patients was used to assess retest reliability. Results: Translation-back translation revealed no major difficulties. Test-retest reliability of DASH-Function/Symptom was 0.910 and DASH-Work Model was 0.793. There was moderate correlations between DASH and SF-36 Physical Functioning (r=-0.531, p<0.001), and SF-36 Bodily Pain (r=-0.594, p<0.001). Conclusion: The Turkish version of the DASH Questionnaire has excellent test-retest reliability and validity, and it is an adequate and useful instrument for measuring functional disability in upper extremity complaints of Turkish speaking patients.
