Ebeveynlik Davranısları ve Çocukların Sosyal-Davranıssal Gelisiminde Is-Aile Çatısmasının Rolü

Öz:
Bu proje, 2-6 yasları arasında çocugu olan evli ve çalısan kadınların deneyimledikleri is-aile çatısmasının, onların psikolojik saglıkları, ebeveynlik davranısları ve çocuklarının sosyaldavranıssal gelisimleriyle olan iliskilerini incelemektedir. Projenin temel amaçları; (1) erken çocukluk yas döneminde çocugu olan çalısan kadınların is-aile çatısması ve buna neden olabilecek durumları saptamak; (2) deneyimlenen is-aile çatısmasının kadınların psikolojik saglık ve ebeveynlik davranıslarıyla olan iliskisini incelemek; (3) algılanan destek mekanizmalarının bu süreçteki rolünü incelemek; (4) bütün bu mikro ve mezo-sistem etkilerinin, çocukların sosyal-davranıssal gelisimleriyle nasıl iliskili oldugunu arastırmaktır. Arastırmada, Türkiye genelinde 2-6 yas arası çocugu olan evli ve çalısan, tabakalı tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmis 700 anne ile görüsülmüstür. Ayrıca, sadece Istanbul?da ikamet eden 40 anne ile de derinlemesine görüsmelerden olusan bir nitel çalısma tamamlanmıstır. Çalısmanın sonuçları göstermistir ki, (i) çalısmaktan suçluluk duyan ve algıladıkları sosyal destek seviyesi az olan anneler, daha fazla is-aile çatısması deneyimlemekte; (ii) is-aile çatısması, çalısan annelerin depresyon seviyelerini ve olumsuz ebeveynlik davranıslarını arttırırken, çocukların olumlu sosyal-davranıssal gelisimlerini olumsuz yönde etkilemekte; (iii) algılanan sosyal destek, çalısan annelerin depresyon seviyeleri üzerinde koruyucu bir etki olusturmakta; ve (iv) sosyo-demografik özelliklerinden bagımsız, çalısan çogu annenin is ve ev yasantılarında deneyimledigi olumsuzluklar benzer olmaktadır.
