Evaluating the science activities based on multiple intelligence theory

Öz:
This study was carried out to evaluate the activities that student teachers developed for primary education science and technology subjects according to the Multiple Intelligence Theory (MIT). In this research, document analysis method was used. During the research, with the guidance of the instructor, it was discussed with student teachers how multiple intelligence activities are developed on science and technology subject. ‘Activity Evaluation Scale on MIT’ was developed considering the skills of the student teachers. Content validity of the scale was carried out by the subject education experts and structural validity was carried out by factor analysis. The analysis of the data was made by evaluating these activities. Data showed that the student teachers couldn’t acquire the expected behaviors. Suggestions about the results of the study were presented.
