Diş hekimliğinde Emdogain

Öz:
Bir mine matriks türevi olan Emdogain (EMD), dişi destekleyen dokuların rejenerasyonunda klinik olarak kullanılanbir materyaldir. EMD, yüzey detoksifikasyonu, demineralizasyonu ve kollajen liflerin açığa çıkması ve biyouyumlubir yüzey oluşturulmasını sağlamaktadır. EMD, alkalin fosfataz aktivitesini ve osteoblastlardaki kemik matriks proteinlerinin salınımını arttırmaktadır. Amelogeninler mezenşimal hücreleri stimüle ederek iyileşme, büyüme ve rejenerasyon için gerekli olan faktörlerin açığa çıkmalarınısağlamaktadır. Amelogenin içerikli emdogainin endodontide, periodontolojide, implantolojide ve travmatolojide kemik ve yara iyileşmesi ve vital pulpa tedavilerinde kullanılarak doku rejenerasyonlarında alternatif bir uygulama metodu olduğu görülmüştür.ANAHTARKELİMELER: Amelin; amelogenin; emdogain;kalsiyum hidroksit; mine matriks proteinleri;rejenerasyonKAYNAKGÖSTERMEKİÇİN: Özerol NB, Yılmaz NA, Bodrumlu E.Diş hekimliğinde Emdogain.
