Ortodontide estetik restorasyonlar (olgu sunumu)
Öz: Sadece ortodontik diş hareketleriyle anterior estetiğin sağlanamadığı kama şekilli lateral diş varlığı, travma sonucu meydana gelen minedentin kırıkları, konjenital diş eksikliği nedeniyle per siste kalan süt dişi varlığı ve hipoplazili keser diş varlığı gibi olgularda restoratif yaklaşımlar gerekli olabilmektedir. Bu makalede, ortodontik ve restoratif yaklaşımlarla tedavi edilmiş üç vaka sunulmaktadır. Bu olgu raporunda, lateral diş eksikliği, mine hipoplazisi, kama şekilli lateral keser diş varlığı gibi farklı malokluzy onlara sahip 3 olgunun sabit ortodontik tedavileri tamamlandıktan sonra daha estetik bir görünüm elde edebilmek için uygulanan restoratif tedaviler sunulmaktadır. Son yirmi yılda dental restoratif materyallerde çok hızlı gelişmeler meydana gelmiştir. Çalışma zamanının kısalığı, gelişen bonding teknolojisiyle çiğneme kuvvetlerine karşı direncin yüksek olması, restoratif materyallerde oluşan renk değişikliklerin en aza indirilmesi ve en önemlisi renk seçiminin hasta başında gerçekleştirilebiliyor olması bu tekniğin en büyük avantajlarıdır. Ortodontik tedaviyle birlikte bu materyallerin uygun kullanımı tedavinin sonuçlarını olumlu yönde etkilemektedir.

Aesthetic restorations in orthodontics (case report)
Öz: İn some cases such as the presence of peg-shaped lateral incisor, fractured tooth, congenitally missing tooth and enamel hypoplasia, orthodontic treatment could not provide satisfactory aesthetic appearance. These cases often require a restorative approach. In this article, 3 cases treated with orthodontic and restorative approaches were presented. Three cases had different type malocelusions, missing lateral incisors, enamel hypoplasia and peg shaped lateral incisors were treated with fixed orthodontic appliances. After orthodontic treatment, restorative treatment modalities were applied in order to improve aesthetic appearance. There has been rapid progress in the science of dental restorative materials during the last two decades. Short working time, improved adhesive and aesthetic properties, increased resistance to occluzal forces and discoloration could be stated the important advantages of new generation composite restorative materials. Proper application of these materials could improve the results gained with orthodontic treatment.
