Göz İzleme Temelli ve Ebeveyn Aracılı Ortak Dikkat Becerileri Erken Müdahale Programının OSB’li Çocukların Sosyal İletişim Becerileri Üzerine Etkisi

Öz:
Bu araştırma projesinin birinci temel amacı OSB tanısı almış çocukların göz izleme becerini inceleyerek OSB li çocuklarda gözlemlenen sıra dışı göz izleme örüntülerini saptamak ve OSB li çocukların ortak dikkat becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik bilgisayar aracılı bir erken eğitim programı oluşturmaktır. Proje kapsamında araştırmanın birinci amacına yönelik olarak OSB li çocuklar (n=60) ve normal gelişim gösteren (NG li) çocuklardan (n=60) elde edilen göz izleme verileri içerisinde açıkça görülemeyen gizli kalmış ilişki ve desenlerin ortaya çıkarılması amacıyla veri madenciliği teknikleri uygulamaları gerçekleştirilmiş ve bilgisayar aracılığıyla sunulan bir ortak dikkat becerileri programı oluşturulmuştur. Bu amaç doğrultusunda insan yüzleri ve farklı sosyal bağlamları yansıtan beş set göz izleme değerlendirme materyalleri katılımcı çocuklara bilgisayar aracılığıyla sunulmuştur. Projenin ikinci temel amacı OSB?li çocukların sosyal iletişim becerilerini desteklemek amacıyla Ebeveyn Aracılı Ortak Dikkat Becerileri Erken Müdahale Programını oluşturmak ve iki eğitim programının birleştirilmesi ile oluşan Göz İzleme Temelli ve Ebeveyn Aracılı Ortak Dikkat Becerileri Erken Müdahale Programı uygulamalarını 18-36 ay aralığında olan OSB tanısı almış çocuklar ve ebeveynleri ile uygulayarak oluşturulan programın etkililiğini test etmektir. Projenin ikinci temel amacı erken müdahale programının etkililiği OSB tanısı olan deney grubunda yer alan 28 ve kontrol grubunda yer alan 28 çocukla toplam 56 katılımcı ile incelenmiştir. Dört ay süren program uygulamalarının etkililiği programın başında ve sonunda toplanan verilerinin karşılaştırılması aracılığıyla test edilmiştir. Programın katılımcı çocukların sosyal iletişim becerileri üzerine etkililiği ortak dikkat becerileri ve sosyal etkileşim becerileri gözlem protokolleri ile programın katılımcı çocukların OSB semptomlarını azaltma üzerine etkililiği Değiştirilmiş Erken Çocukluk Dönemi Otizm Tarama Ölçeği (M-CHAT), Gazi Erken Çocukluk Gelişim Değerlendirme Aracı (GEÇTA) ve BAYLEY III Bebeklerde ve Küçük Çocuklarda Genel Gelişim Ölçeği ile, çocukların dil ve iletişim becerilerini destekleme üzerine etkililiği Türkçe Erken Dil Gelişimi Testi (TEDİL) ile ve son olarak ta programın katılımcı çocukların göz izleme becerileri üzerine etkililiği göz izleme verilerinin incelenmesi aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ek olarak, uygulamaya katılan ailelerin program uygulamaları ve programın katılımcı çocuklar ve ebeveynler üzerindeki etkileri ve programın sosyal geçerliliğine yönelik görüşleri yarı yapılandırılmış soruların ve cevapların nitel analizleri aracılığıyla incelenmiştir. Uygulanan bilimsel araştırma projesinin sonuçları, 18-36 ay aralığında olan OSB?li çocukların sosyal uyaranlara yönelmede sergiledikleri atipik göz izleme örüntülerini belirlemede geliştirilen göz izleme protokolü ve veri madenciliği uygulamalarının etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Proje bulguları Göz İzleme Temelli ve Ebeveyn Aracılı Ortak Dikkat Becerileri Erken Müdahale Programının katılımcı çocukların ortak dikkat ve sosyal iletişim becerilerini desteklemede, genel gelişim düzeylerini desteklemede, dil ve iletişim becerilerini desteklemede, OSB semptomlarını azaltmada ve insan yüzlerine daha fazla yönelmelerinde etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Özetle, bulgular 18-36 ay aralığında olan OSB?li çocuklar için geliştirilen Göz İzleme Temelli ve Ebeveyn Aracılı Ortak Dikkat Becerileri Erken Müdahale Programının etkiliğini program sonunda ulaşılan ilerlemelerle açık olarak göstermiştir. Proje bulguları tartışılmış ileri araştırma ve uygulamalara yönelik önerilere yer verilmiştir.
