Acı ve kirlenmiş suların arıtımına yönelik yüksek performanslı nano-mikrofiltrasyon araçlarının geliştirilmesi

Öz:
Proje kapsamında ilk olarak büyük kanallı yani makro gözenekli seramiklerin (bilye veya tek parça (monolitik)) üretimi amaçlanmıstır. Ardından üretilen bu makro gözenekli sistemler; (i) zeolitlerle kaplanarak, (ii) hidroflorik asit ile daglanarak, (iii) yüksek sıcaklıkta klor gazı ile daglanarak Yeni ortaya çıkarılan mikro ve mezo boyutlarda gözenek eklentisi ile yüksek yüzey alanlı, yüksek geçirgenlikte ve düsük geri basınçlı filtrelere dönüstürülmüs ve karakterizasyon basamaklarını takiben, kirleticileri sudan uzaklastırma performansları için incelenmistir. Üretilen filtre sistemleri önce yapısal karakterizasyon metotları: XRD, TGA, FTIR ve RAMAN, taramalı elektron mikroskopu (SEM, mikro-yapısı) ile ardında ise gözenek boyutları ve miktarı için BET (yüzey alanı), tomografik teknikler (CT) ve cıva porosimetresi (Hg-por) ile incelenmistir. Üretim ve karakterizasyon basamaklarından sonra proje kapsamı dogrultusunda, seçilen filtre sistemlerinin sudaki kirleticileri (Arsenik, Kadmiyum, Bakır, Çinko, Kursun, Nitrat, Amonyum, Metilen Mavisi, Rhodamin B ve Kristal Violet) uzaklastırmak üzere performans degerlendirilmesine tabii tutulmustur. Seçilen filtre sistemlerinin performansı öncelikle yıgın emilim denemeleriyle, ardından da bu denemelerde alınan sonuçlar dogrultusunda kolon denemeleriyle arastırılmıstır. Incelenen metal kirleticilerin analizleri için Atomic Adsorption Spectrometry (AAS), nitrat için Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) ve boyaların konsantrasyon tayini için de UV-Vis spektrometre kullanılmıstır. Arastırılan kirleticileri sudan uzaklastırma konusunda yapılan kapsamlı incelemeler, üretilen tüm malzemelerin metal kirleticileri filtreleme konusunda sınırlı kapasiteye sahip oldugunu ancak seçilen boya bazlı kirleticileri sulu çözeltiden uzaklastırma konusunda oldukça basarılı oldugunu ortaya çıkarmıstır. Üretilen numunelerin filtreleme kapasiteleri Langmuir ve Freundlich izoterm modellerine uygunluk yönünden arastırılmıstır. Ayrıca tekrar kullanılabilirlik (rejenerasyon) testleri de gerçeklestirilmis, üçüncü döngü sonunda dahi alıkonma verimi %97 mertebesinin altına düsmemistir. Yine çoklu boylara ve gerçek kirli suya karsı performansı da incelenen numuneler, benzer sekilde boylara karsı oldukça basarılı nano-mikro filtrelerdir.
